While both methods involve melting aluminum, the two processes produce different results. Cast aluminum is made by pouring molten aluminum into a mold. The mold can be made of various materials, such as sand, ceramic, or metal. Once the aluminum has cooled and solidified, the mold is removed, and the aluminum part is ready for use. Cast aluminum is commonly used in industries such as automotive, aerospace, and construction.

 

Advantages of Cast Aluminum
