Thixoforming is to completely cool the molten metal from the liquid phase to the solid phase. During the cooling process, strong stirring or other treatments are performed to obtain a semi-solid slurry with partial solidification. The primary phase in the slurry is Nearly spherical, and further cooled to obtain a billet with a non-dendritic structure. Then, the obtained billets are divided according to the quality of the parts to be formed, and then each billet is reheated to the required partial remelting degree for casting, forging, rolling or extrusion forming.

Thixoforming process: slurry preparation–ingot preparation–quantitative segmentation–secondary heating–thixoforming.

Magnesium alloy has the advantages of high specific strength and specific elastic modulus, good rigidity, vibration damping, machinability and electromagnetic shielding resistance, and low forming temperature.

3C の高集積化により、電子部品や熱交換器の動作中に発生する過熱や変形による部品の故障の原因となる過剰な熱を除去することがより急務になっています。優れた放熱性と機械的特性を兼ね備えた材料の需要が急速に高まっています。コンポーネントの性能を最大限に引き出すには、適切な熱伝導率を持つ材料を選択することが非常に重要です。

Mg合金は、Al合金よりも熱容量が小さく放熱効果が高いため、放熱材料として大きな可能性を秘めています。過去数十年にわたって、マイクロ、ナノ、さらには分子スケールでの基本的な熱伝達を明確に理解して、Mg 合金の熱伝導率を向上させることに専念してきたいくつかの努力がありました。 

Zhongmei は、一般的に使用されている AZ91D マグネシウム合金と比較して熱伝導率を大幅に改善できる Mg 合金の開発を目指して、世界をリードする専門家である重慶大学の Pan Fusheng 教授と彼のチームと共同で、マグネシウム合金材料研究所を設立しました。
