In particular, it is worth mentioning that this is the second award. Guangzhou Magnesium, one of the parent companies of China Magnesium Technology, and Mobike won the 2018 International Magnesium Association “Commercial Casting Award” Excellence Award for their revolutionary development of magnesium alloy shared bicycle integrated wheel castings.

This award-winning project is the first 27.5-inch one-piece magnesium alloy frame developed by China Magnesium Technology. Among them, there are mainly two highlights: first, it is the world’s first super-sized magnesium alloy frame; second , Using the integrated die-casting process pioneered by China Magnesium.

This one-piece frame, without welding joints, is installed with the Bafang central motor, and is formed by a 3000-ton locking force die-casting machine at one time. By combining magnesium alloy materials with injection molding technology, China Magnesium Technology is now able to produce lightweight, rigid frames with hollow tube geometry. This frame is 30% lighter than the traditional aluminum alloy frame, and can be restored to its original shape when it is deformed by an impact. It has good shock absorption, making the riding experience better, and truly achieves light travel.
And, compared with the current state-of-the-art technology, these magnesium alloy frames are 100% recyclable, reducing carbon emissions by 50% during the manufacturing process, in line with current green emission reduction requirements, and very environmentally friendly.

A casting equipment that cools and solidifies to obtain finished products. His advantage is that it does not need manual reclaiming and has a high degree of automation. The surface of the die-cast product is smooth and flat, with high strength and hardness, and the thickness of the product is thin. The products made do not need secondary processing, but one-time molding, which can realize the industrialization and integration of production, so as to achieve the effect of reducing cost and increasing efficiency.

Cold chamber die casting is currently the most widely used alloy die casting process on the market, and our company is very mature in this application.
