Die casting, or pressure casting, is a metal casting process characterized by the use of a mold cavity to apply high pressure to the ironed metal. Molds are usually machined from stronger alloys, a process somewhat similar to injection molding. Most die castings are free of iron, such as zinc, copper, aluminum, magnesium, lead, tin, and lead-tin alloys and their alloys. Depending on the type of die casting, a cold chamber die casting machine or a hot chamber die casting machine is required.

Casting equipment and molds are expensive, so the die-casting process is generally only used for mass-produced products. Manufacturing die-cast components is relatively easy, generally requiring only four major steps, with very low incremental cost per item. Die casting is especially suitable for the manufacture of a large number of small and medium-sized castings, so die casting is the most widely used of various casting processes. Compared with other casting techniques, die casting has a flatter surface and higher dimensional consistency.

Common Materials Used in Die Casting

Introduction   Die casting is a manufacturing process used to produce metal parts in large quantities. It involves the use of molten metal that is injected into a mold cavity under high pressure. The molten metal solidifies and takes the shape of the mold cavity. Die casting is widely used in the automotive, aerospace, consumer goods, and electronic industries. In this article, we will discuss the common materials used in die casting.   1. Aluminum   Aluminum is one of the most commonly used materials in die casting. It is a lightweight and durable material that has good corrosion resistance....

mikä on kylmäkammiopainevalu? Ja miksi sitä käytetään laajalti painevaluteollisuudessa?

Cold-chamber die-casting is that the robotic arm pours the molten metal liquid into the injection chamber by feeding the soup from the middle of the machine through a spoon, and then uses the injection piston (hammer) to push the metal liquid into the mold at high speed, while maintaining a certain pressure. A casting equipment that cools and solidifies to obtain finished products. His advantage is that it does not need manual reclaiming and has a high degree of automation. The surface of the die-cast product is smooth and flat, with high strength and hardness, and the thickness of the...
