Looking for magnesium alloy thixotropic parts

What are thixotropic parts, and why are they desirable?

Thixotropic parts are those that are not easily deformable when at rest, but that become more deformable when put into motion. This is desirable in many parts, as it gives them a higher resistance to wear and tear. Additionally, it can help to keep them in place and prevent them from moving around too much.

What are some of the benefits of magnesium alloy thixotropic parts?

There are a number of benefits to using magnesium alloy thixotropic parts in manufacturing. Some of the key benefits include:

1. Increased Strength – Magnesium alloy thixotropic parts are stronger than traditional magnesium parts, making them more durable.

2. Improved Fatigue Resistance – Magnesium alloy thixotropic parts also have improved fatigue resistance, making them more resistant to damage over time.

3. Enhanced Corrosion Resistance – Magnesium alloy thixotropic parts also have enhanced corrosion resistance, making them more resistant to rust and other forms of degradation.

4. Better Machinability – Magnesium alloy thixotropic parts are also easier to machine than traditional magnesium parts, making them less expensive to produce.

What are some of the potential drawbacks of magnesium alloy thixotropic parts?

One potential drawback of using magnesium alloy thixotropic parts is that the material can be more brittle than traditional magnesium alloy parts. Additionally, magnesium alloy thixotropic parts can be more expensive to produce, and may not be as strong as traditional magnesium alloy parts.

Looking for magnesium alloy thixotropic parts

In competing with aluminium alloys as structural materials, magnesium alloys have the advantages of low density, high strength ratio, better electromagnetic shielding properties and castability. These result in the preferential use of magnesium alloys in 3C components(Computer, Communication and Consumer product) where lightweight , heat dissipation, electromagnetic shielding is critical.also have extremely broad applications in the fields of automotive, aerospace, outdoor sports and so on.

With the high integration in 3C , removing the excessive heat produced during the operation of electronic components and heat exchangers, which causes the components to fail as a result of overheating or deformation, becomes more urgent. The demand for materials with both excellent heat dissipation and mechanical properties is increasing rapidly. Selecting materials with appropriate thermal conductivity is very important for achieving the best performance of components.

Mg alloys exhibit great potential as heat dissipation materials owing to their smaller heat capacity and better heat dissipation effects than those of Al alloys. Over the past decades, there have been some efforts devoting to enhancing the thermal conductivity of Mg alloys with a clear understanding of the fundamental heat transfer at the micro, nano and even molecular scales.

Aiming to develop a Mg alloys that can provide significantly improved thermal conductivity in comparison to the commonly used AZ91D magnesium alloys,  Zhongmei built Research Institute of Magnesium Alloy Materials jointly with the global leading expert, Prof. Pan Fusheng of Chongqing University and his team.

What is the Meaning of CNC in English?

CNC, an acronym for Computer Numerical Control, is a term widely used in the field of manufacturing and engineering. It refers to the use of computers to control machine tools and automate various processes involved in the production of goods.   In the early days of manufacturing, machines were operated manually by skilled workers. These workers had to control the machines by turning handles, levers, or wheels, which required a high level of expertise and precision. However, with the advent of computer technology, the manufacturing industry underwent a significant transformation.   The introduction of CNC brought about a revolution in...

The Importance of Coat in Pressure Die Casting

Pressure die casting is a manufacturing process used to produce high precision metal parts. It involves pouring molten metal into a mold under high pressure and then allowing it to solidify. The quality of the casting is dependent on several factors including the quality of the mold, the temperature of the metal, and the performance of the die casting machine. However, one factor that is often overlooked but crucial to the success of the process is the use of a coat.   A coat is a material that is applied to the surface of the mold before casting. The purpose...
