The steering column is perhaps one of the most overlooked and least talked about parts of the entire steering mechanism. The steering column is a fixed tubular cover that encases a rotatable steering shaft that connects to the steering wheel at one end and to the steering box at the other end. For safety reasons, all modern cars are equipped with a steering column that collapses in a frontal impact. The glue feeding scheme of the hot runner gating system is adopted to realize the latent point gate to avoid the influence of the gate trace on the appearance quality of the plastic parts.

Die casting is a toy or collectible model produced by a die casting method that puts molten lead, zinc alloy or plastic into a mold to create a specific shape. Such toys are made of metal with plastic, rubber, glass or other machined metal parts.

Compared with the traditional steering wheel, the magnesium alloy steering wheel has unparalleled advantages such as light weight, high specific strength, good shock absorption, good recyclability and environmental protection requirements. It has become a staple of new vehicles in North America and Europe. The application rate in this area is as high as 80%. China is the world’s largest producer and exporter of magnesium. The application in the automotive field is obviously lagging behind.
